Participate
Why Participate? In 2004 and 2005 respectively, nearly 7 million guests visited Virginia's State Parks. Research shows that in 2006 even more visitors will flock to the park system named “Best State Parks in the United States.” These visitors contribute to one of the largest growing sectors of travel and tourism in the country- visits to State and National Parks. As a result, park visitors had a significant impact on all travel industry sectors and made a major contribution to the $16.5 billion in tourism spending in Virginia.*
Why shouldn't your business or organization have a bigger slice of the pie?
The success of the Virginia State Parks Interpretive Information System, and the depth of information we can provide, relies on the participation of advertisers, sponsors, and public-private partners like you. Unlike typical sign programs and other media in public places, this project is entirely funded without the use of taxpayer dollars. The Virginia State Parks Interpretive Information System is the model for public-private partnerships in America's parks and historic places. Opportunities for participation include paid advertising, sponsorship, and strategic partnerships.
All of us at Imperial Multimedia and the Commonwealth of Virginia are confident that as you explore the following opportunities that you will find an ideal means by which your business or organization can become a participant in the most comprehensive guest information program ever launched in a park system.
